Sophie Allison, better known by her stage name Soccer Mommy, is a singer-songwriter hailing from Nashville, Tennessee. Unlike many artists spawned by the country-roots city, Soccer Mommy’s music bears an indie rock sound with a pop and lo-fi edge. Upon first picking up a guitar at the age of six, she developed her love and talent for music, making a relatively new yet successful career out of it. Since her emergence onto the music scene, Soccer Mommy has produced two full-length albums, 2016’s For Young Hearts and 2017’s Collection. Her most recent release was her official label debut, titled Clean, which came out in 2018. Allison cites musicians Mitski, Taylor Swift and Avril Lavigne as well as the cities of Nashville and New York as her influences.
